Solved by verified expert:I will need 2 responses to the following 2 discussion board posts. (see attached)This week’s discussion and Faith Integration: Read 1 Corinthians 9:24-27, Galatians 6:6-10, Hebrews 5:11-14, 2 Timothy 3:15-16. Although these verses focus on Christian development through the Word of God, try to apply them to employee training and development in an organization. For whom is it reserved? Should only the “high potential” people be fully developed? Consider overall Employee Orientation, training and development. For the 2 responses – In addition, learners post a minimum of two responses to peer initial responses. The peer response should include additional research that expands upon one of key points noted in your peers initial response. The peer reply should be composed in a professional manner with a word count range of 150-200 words each.Noe, R. The scriptures 1 Corinthians, Galatians, Hebrews, and 2 Timothy are specifically related
to the development of Christian faith. This does not mean they only check one box; these verses
are adaptable and can be applied to a work environment for training purposes in growth and
development. It does not apply to one kind of individual but all those who are willing to make
the correct changes in their environment. “Leaders who have the ability and desire to selfdevelop tend to continuously learn and improve themselves, thus increasing the return on
investment for their organizations” (Leeds, Roach, Burtnick, Moody). When Paul talks about the
race athletes train for, we can use this metaphorical information and apply it in those developing
an organization for the right purposes, as opposed to those trained with a less direct purpose. “So
I run with purpose in every step” (1Corinthians 9:26, NLT). Paul doesn’t specify the “best”
athletes, he talks about the ones who have the right frame of mind. Associates trained with the
correct frame of mind to understand the purpose of an organization, therefore, more willing to
adapt to circumstances.
Among the developing and training, an organization even with the best candidates can be
corrupt in their nature. Again, Paul describes the purpose of training and how the task should be
“planted” amongst a field, or in our discussion an organization. “As expected, employees appear
to notice when their organization has well-trained executives, and this is suggested by
employees’ more positive perceptions of leadership and knowledge management” (Leeds,
Roach, Burtnick & Moody). A wise man knows where to plant his harvest to reap of the greatest
benefit, there is not one aspect that defines what a wise man consists of. How the training and
development is used depends on whether they continue to grow in their new knowledge “…who
through training have the skill to recognize the difference between right and wrong” (Hebrews
Holy Bible (2nd ed., New Living Translation). (2004). Tyndale House.

Employee training and development is a very important function for human resources within an
organization. “Businesses want to shore up their training and L&D initiatives for three main
reasons: to ensure that employees have the skills needed do the jobs today, to ensure that
employees have the capabilities to support future business growth and to keep talented
employees on board (Zhao, 2019 pg. 01).” This task can only be accomplished with efforts made
by both HR and each employee. 1 Corinthians 9:24-27 speak on the need for self-disciple; to be
focus on the prize. Galatians 6:10 teaches us “to do good to all people,” which gives a clear-cut
answer to the question of weather only high potential people should be fully developed within an
organization. Smart organization are the ones that encourage all of their employees to get
involved in different roles or assignments.
Hebrews 5:11-14 warns against falling away from the truth that is found in God’s word. In order
to develop into teachers of righteousness, we have to stay well trained by studying the word of
God. In the business world HR can develop talented workers by providing required and optional
training. Timothy 3:16 (NIV) states “all scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching,
rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.” This passage of scripture is self-explanatory
in because the word of God is the ultimate truth. This applies to every aspect of life including the
workplace. When we put our trust in God everything else fallings into place.
